Before your first order, walk through this checklist.

Four practical checks to take your restaurant from menu setup to a controlled launch.

01 · Help guests find the right place

Check your restaurant name, address, phone number and opening hours. Make pickup instructions and preparation times clear, then open the ordering site on a phone.

  • Make the pickup entrance easy for a first-time guest to find.
  • Check hours against your location's time zone.
  • Verify ordering links on your business profile and social accounts.

02 · Read the menu like a new guest

Keep categories easy to scan and make sure names, photos and modifiers agree. Start with reliable signature dishes before expanding your online menu.

  • Check item prices, modifier charges and sold-out states.
  • Describe available spice levels, extras and relevant allergens.
  • Review long names and modifier choices on a small phone.

03 · Complete a controlled test order

Check the business and payout account before connecting payments. Use a controlled test appropriate for your environment to walk through ordering, payment, acceptance, preparation and pickup, then reconcile the records.

  • Confirm staff can recognize a successfully paid order.
  • Have the front desk and kitchen confirm their responsibilities.
  • Check how repeated actions, cancellations and refunds are handled.

04 · Start small, then share widely

Give the team time to learn daily work and exception handling. Assign responsibility for pausing items, contacting guests and handling refunds before promoting your link everywhere.

  • Assign an order owner on every shift.
  • Review unfinished orders and receipts each day.
  • Record first-week issues and address them by impact.
